This delicate verse by poetess, Emily Dickenson, has had a singular
and profound effect on me.

Painting "en plein air" lifts my spirit.  The wind, sun, even the fragrance of the air and the
surrounding sounds contribute and enhance the connection between myself and my subject.
 All of these factors amplify my realization of a God given uniqueness and value in everything I see.
