He is a painter who chooses pastel. The teaching is traditional in nature in that it follows the line of classical impressionism by understanding and capturing the effect of light. His Master Classes explore how the effect of outdoor light reveals itself on a subject thus offering unique opportunities to use color and movement not always afforded in the studio.
