Workshops"Opening the workshop with your power point presentation certainly set the tone for the workshop and made for a very smooth unveiling of your wisdom and ability. It was fantastic and none like we have experienced The PSSW is delighted with the results."- Ann S. Adams/ President About the Workshops Bill teaches a manner of thinking and seeing that bridges not only subject but medium as well. Students work in the areas of figure, still life and landscape. He explores how outdoor light reveals itself on a subject offering an artist unique opportunities hard to find in the studio. His teaching is traditional and follows a line of classical Impressionism by understanding and capturing the light effects. Bill considers himself a painter who chooses pastel and often his students choose to work in oil, watercolor or acrylic. Beginner to Advanced students are accepted with individual instruction and critiques tailored to the students ability level. Bill's teaching methods include on site lectures and direct demonstration of the principles being taught. Upcoming Workshops September 2009: Mackinac Island, Michigan | ![]() |
